2.28m vaccine jabs given

About 2,286,200 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,319,700 people receiving their first dose and about 966,400 getting their second dose.   Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 567,900 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 751,800 people have received the BioNTech one.   For the second dose, about 419,700 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 546,800 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.   About 7,700 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 6,000 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.   For the BioNTech vaccine, about 9,400 people received their first dose at community vaccination centres (CVCs) and about 12,700 people received their second dose.   The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is about 97%, the same as the BioNTech one.   As of 8pm, about 10,500 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 15,100 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.   As of midnight, six people were sent to hospitals.
