Property sales dip 27.5%

The Land Registry recorded 3,189 sale and purchase agreements for all building units received for registration in February, down 27.5% compared with January and 46.7% lower year-on-year.   The total consideration for such agreements in February fell 32.9% from January, to $22.6 billion, while a 48.5% year-on-year decrease was recorded.   Of the agreements, 2,375 were for residential units, down 31.7% from January and 44.5% lower than a year ago.   The total consideration for residential units was $19.1 billion, a decrease of 31.3% compared with January and down 47.9% year-on-year.   There were 276,910 land register searches last month. http://dlvr.it/T3ZqYl

2.28m vaccine jabs given

About 2,286,200 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,319,700 people receiving their first dose and about 966,400 getting their second dose.   Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 567,900 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 751,800 people have received the BioNTech one.   For the second dose, about 419,700 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 546,800 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.   About 7,700 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 6,000 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.   For the BioNTech vaccine, about 9,400 people received their first dose at community vaccination centres (CVCs) and about 12,700 people received their second dose.   The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is about 97%, the same as the BioNTech one.   As of 8pm, about 10,500 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 15,100 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.   As of midnight, six people were sent to hospitals.
