CFA Society Hong Kong 30th Anniversary

CFA Society Hong Kong (the Society) is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its founding in 1992. In celebration of its achievements, the Society rolled out a series of marketing communications programs to increase our brand awareness. The Society shares the mission of CFA Institute in raising the professional and ethical standards of financial analysts and investment practitioners through advocacy and continuing education efforts. In addition to promoting the CFA designation in Hong Kong, the Society aims to provide a forum for members, CFA Institute, other investment practitioners and regulators for networking and the exchange of industry insights and best practices. The Society is led by the Board of Directors, monitored by its Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) and advised by the Advisory Board, providing a broad range of perspectives on issues relating to the Society and protecting the interests of members. 2m vaccine doses administered

About 2,010,300 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,193,600 people receiving their first dose and about 816,700 getting their second dose.   Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 515,100 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 678,500 people have received the BioNTech one.   For the second dose, about 376,900 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 439,800 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.   About 5,200 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 4,400 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.   For the BioNTech vaccine, about 7,800 people received their first dose at community vaccination centres (CVCs) and about 8,400 people received their second dose.   The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is about 96%, the same as for the BioNTech one.   As of 8pm, about 3,800 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 8,400 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.   As of midnight, six people were sent to hospitals.
