Tuen Mun testing exercise done

The Government announced that the compulsory testing exercise and enforcement operation for the restricted area in Tuen Mun finished today with no positive COVID-19 cases found.   It made a restriction-testing declaration yesterday evening, requiring people within the specified area to stay in their premises and undergo compulsory testing.   The area covered JC Place Tower 1 in Castle Peak Bay where 380 citizens were tested.   In the subsequent enforcement operation, about 100 people’s test records were checked. Nobody was found to have not undergone mandatory testing.   Government staff also visited around 120 households in the restricted area, of which six did not answer the door. No virus cases in restricted areas

The Government announced that the compulsory testing exercises and enforcement operations for the two restricted areas in Yau Tong and Aberdeen finished today with no positive COVID-19 cases found.   It made restriction-testing declarations yesterday evening, requiring people within the two specified areas to stay in their premises and undergo compulsory testing.   The areas covered Maya Tower 1 in Yau Tong and Pik Long House of Shek Pai Wan Estate in Aberdeen where 330 and 2,125 citizens were tested.   In the subsequent enforcement operations, about 1,220 people’s test records were checked. One person was found to have not undergone mandatory testing.   Government staff also visited around 898 households in the two restricted areas, of which some 79 did not answer the door. Such households are urged to contact the Government promptly to arrange testing.   According to the compulsory testing notices issued yesterday, those who had stayed in these two buildings within a specified period for more than two hours must undergo testing by tomorrow even if they were not in the restricted areas when the declarations took effect.
